Written by the IPTV LEVEL UP team. We think every buyer should be able to check a provider — including us — before paying, so this checklist applies to any IPTV service.
What should you check before buying any IPTV subscription?
Check five things before you pay any provider, including us: who runs the service and how to reach them, how payment works, what the refund terms actually say, whether you can test on your own device first, and whether the claims on the website can be checked. A service that is clear on all five is far less likely to disappoint.
1. Who is behind the website?
Look for a working email address, a chat channel that replies, and legal pages (terms, privacy, refunds) that name the service consistently. Be cautious if the address shown on the site doesn't match the address on the map, if phone numbers don't answer, or if the brand name differs between the page title, the footer and the checkout.
Also check you are on the site you meant to visit. Look-alike names and domains are common in IPTV, so make sure the contact details and checkout belong to the provider you intend to buy from. For IPTV LEVEL UP, every official contact channel is listed on our contact page.
2. Are the numbers believable?
Providers often publish channel totals, title counts, uptime and customer statistics. Treat them as marketing until you can test them:
- Percentages over 100% (for example "satisfaction 900%") are not measurements of anything.
- Very large channel totals usually include the same channel in several qualities and regional copies. What matters is whether the channels you watch are there and stable.
- "Official" or partner claims about broadcasters or leagues should be backed by something you can verify.
Ask any provider — us included — about the specific channels you care about before you pay, and check them during a trial.
3. How do you pay, and what's the refund policy?
Good signs: the full price is shown before checkout, the plan doesn't renew automatically, and the refund policy explains the time limit, what qualifies and how to ask. Warning signs: payment only through gift cards or unusual methods, refund promises that appear in marketing but not in the written policy, or a "refund" that is really a free extra month.
At IPTV LEVEL UP, plans are prepaid with no auto-renewal, the price is recalculated by our server at checkout, and the refund window is 7 days from activation, as written in our refund policy.
4. Can you test it on your own device?
Your device and home network matter as much as the provider. A short trial or a one-month plan tells you more than any review. Test in the evening, when networks are busiest, and on the channel you watch most. We offer a 24-hour trial on one screen.
5. Does support actually answer?
Send a pre-sales question before you buy. Note how long the reply takes and whether it answers your question or just repeats a sales message. Support quality is what you'll rely on when an app updates or a channel moves.
A quick checklist
| Question | What a good answer looks like |
|---|---|
| Who runs it? | Consistent name, working contact channels, real legal pages |
| What does it cost? | Full price shown up front, no auto-renewal surprises |
| Can I get a refund? | Written policy with a clear time limit and steps |
| Can I test first? | Trial or short plan, tested on your own device |
| Do the claims add up? | Specific, checkable statements; no impossible statistics |
